How do I restart the service of Windows Security Center?
I use AVG Free and it is telling me I don't have wither Windows Defender to Antivirus and both are up to date and running. I even reinstalled AVG Free. Memory Full Problem
I downloaded Windows Defender and it found the 2 programs that were harmful on my computer and deleted them... and now everything is working properly again! Also, I have Mcafee security and it is running fine, and I have gotten to alerts from it telling me that I have any infected files etc on my computer.

Firewall is enabled/disabled in Control Panel > Security Center. If you are using a third party personal firewall, you should look for support at the manufacturer's web site. The free Microsoft Windows Defender antispyware program does have real time protection enabled like paid software.

As far as I know Sygate firewall is not recognised by Security Center and it monitors itself so this Security Center ^alert^ is normal. I'm running Windows XP Home SP2.
